Meat Cannelloni with Wild Mushroom Crème

Carla’s Pasta Recipe for Meat Cannelloni with Wild Mushroom Crème

Ingredients

8-10 Carla’s Pre-Cooked (Frozen) Meat Cannelloni
3 cups Carla’s Wild Mushroom Pesto
1½ cups Heavy Cream
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 T Chopped Fresh Parsley
Salt and Pepper to taste


Preparation

1. Sauté Carla’s Wild Mushroom Pesto on medium high heat until simmering. 
2.  Add heavy cream.
3. Cook sauce ingredients about 5 minutes until the amount in the pan reduces to one half of the original amount. 
4. Stir in freshly chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste
 


Execution

1. Apply non-stick cooking spray to casserole style baking dish.
2. Spoon 1 cup of Mushroom Crème on the base of the baking dish.
3. Layer in 8 each Carla’s Meat Cannelloni.
4. Cover with 1-2 cups of Mushroom Crème.
5. Top with Mozzarella cheese.
6. Bake at 350° F for 45 minutes.
7. Finish in oven with Broiler setting on High for 5 minutes to caramelize cheese topping.
