Carla’s Pasta Recipe for Penne alla Bolognese

Ingredients

3 lb Bag Carla's Penne
6 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 ½ lb Ground Beef
1 ½ lb. Ground Sausage
1 ½ Yellow Onion, Diced
6 Cups Marinara Sauce
¼ Cup Fresh Italian Parsley, Chopped
Salt and Black Pepper to taste.


Preparation


Execution

1. Sauté Onion, Beef, Sausage in Olive Oil on medium-high heat until cooked through.
2. Add Marinara Sauce and Parsley, stir. Let simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
3. Boil penne according to package directions.
4. Add Penne to Bolognese Sauce in sauté pan and toss together.
5. Plate to serve.
